When conventional jack and bore methods are limited by rock, cobbles, boulders, or other difficult ground conditions, our GEONEX system provides an alternative solution for completing challenging trenchless crossings.
Using pneumatic hammer drilling technology, the GEONEX is designed to advance through formations that can stop or severely slow traditional auger boring operations. This makes it particularly well suited for crossings where subsurface conditions are uncertain or known to contain competent rock, large cobbles, boulders, and mixed ground.
The GEONEX allows us to offer customers another trenchless option rather than immediately resorting to open-cut excavation or significantly more expensive tunneling methods. For roadway, utility, and other critical crossings, it can provide an effective solution when conventional jack and bore equipment simply isn't suited for the ground conditions.
Ideal applications include:
By maintaining GEONEX capabilities alongside our conventional trenchless equipment, we can evaluate the ground conditions and select the installation method best suited for each crossing.
